5 steps to counteract brain freeze

What causes the equivalent of a 10 to 15 point drop in IQ, an immediate deer-in-headlights look, and a recipe for brain performance disaster?  If you’ve been following our blog posts or attended one of our live presentations, you would be answering “brain overload”.

Our working memory, located in the brain’s pre-frontal cortex, can get overloaded when confronted with the potent mix of information overload and stress.  The results can be a frustrating “brain freeze” at the most inopportune moment, and potentially causing serious missteps, poor decisions, and a decline in self-confidence.
